Choosing to retire from my Heating as well as A/C job
At the seasoned age of 67, I realized my time had come to retire.
- I had been working with dedication for a vast majority of my life now as well as I was prepared to rest back as well as savor the remainder of my years that I had left.
I had had the same job now since I was 32. Some people go from job to job as well as others have just one job that they stay with for years, for me it was the latter. I enjoyed my business as well as all my coworkers. Working in the Heating as well as A/C industry had been my job and now knowing that I would be leaving all of that behind was bittersweet for me. I can’t begin to count how many heating as well as air conditioner devices I have repaired as well as tested over the years. When you do a job similar to this, you get to meet various different kinds of people and some of those people still stick out to me. Mostly those who were undoubtedly friendly. I remember this particular seasoned lady who would always invite the Heating as well as A/C professionals to rest down as well as have dinner with her. She didn’t know too much about heating as well as cooling as well as frequently called us out to have us help her manage her dial temperature control. Tomorrow is my last day of work before I retire. It feels sort of like one door closing as well as another opening, basically like a new chapter in my life so to speak. I definitely plan on embracing it as well as enjoying all the time I have left to spend time with my children as well as grandchildren.
