I hate wasting so much time on yard work at my house

I dislike doing yard work more than any other chore.

  • I would rather sweep and vacuum the lake house multiple times over if I could just avoid working on my yard.

I’d even cook a huge meal for my extended family if that would just mean that I could simply stop going out to mow twice a week. I hate raking leaves every afternoon until all of the trees are completely bare. I swear that I could rake my entire yard free of leaves multiple times in a month plus it still won’t be enough to clear my grass. Then there’s the struggle of bagging the big pile of leaves plus dragging them down to the curb. I usually create a big mountain of leaf bags right at the roadside. After my grass is somewhat cleared, then it gives me the option to mow if it needs it, or to remove all of the weeds that are growing around my house. They start climbing onto our front porch, and they also climb around the base of the a/c condenser unit. The condenser device has a fan in it to cool the compressor inside down, so you can imagine what could happen if you allowed weeds to keep growing. They would eventually grow through the gaps at the base of the condenser, and it could tangle the fan while it isn’t running. If you left your condenser for a few weeks while not running it, you could eventually turn it on and find that the A/C fan is making unusual noises. By keeping the weeds pulled up around your condenser unit, you can avoid having to deal with this issue.
