Had to get rid of the foul smell in my home

I’ve recently noticed a rather bizarre smell coming from the heating vents in our household.

I was distraught that it might be something awful, such as mold or mildew.

If mold or mildew is growing on the metal of your Heating, Ventilation and A/C ductwork, then you certainly must call a Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional instantly. Nobody wants to breathe in mold or mildew through their ventilation system, myself and others included. I looked it up on a Heating, Ventilation and A/C appliance website, and I managed to find out that a single one of the ways to tell if you have mold or mildew in your ductwork is by checking your household for damp air filters. Well, I checked the air filters in our heating and cooling device, and sure enough, they were completely damp. Between the bizarre smell coming through the HVAC vents and the damp air filters, I was pretty certain that I had a mold complication. I called up our local Heating, Ventilation and A/C company and made an appointment with them, however they said that they could complete our ductwork cleaning in just a few hours. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C device service worker that I spoke with said that they would bring out their special ductwork cleaning tools, including a special high powered vacuum and a rotary brush kit! She also told myself and others that they could treat the mold or mildew and seal the entire Heating, Ventilation and A/C ductwork system with no problem. I’m looking forward to having the job done next week, because I am seriously sick of smelling this horrid smell every time our heating or air conditioning device turns on. I’m hoping that once they seal the Heating, Ventilation and A/C ductwork professionally, I’ll never have to agonize about this again.
